I'm Ahmad Mujtaba — a Shopify Technical Partner for merchants who take their store seriously.
I've spent the last several years working exclusively on Shopify — building custom functionality, migrating stores between platforms, and cleaning up code that other developers left behind. Before that I was a full-stack engineer working across the usual web stack, which is why my Shopify work tends to reach further than theme edits.
I work with a small number of clients at any given time. That's a deliberate choice. Doing this well requires knowing a business's context in real depth, and there's a limit to how many contexts one person can hold.
Every store I've worked on has had at least one feature that was built because it was technically interesting, not because it moved the business forward. I try hard not to add to that pile. The best technical decision is often the smallest one that solves the real problem.
I also don't sell features. If you come to me asking for a specific app or integration, the first conversation is going to be about what you're actually trying to achieve. If the thing you asked for is the right answer, we build it. If it isn't, I'll say so.
